Veterans In Mind
GMMH provide mental health services for military veterans in Cheshire and Merseyside (excluding Liverpool). The service support veterans by delivering specialist high quality care with a focus on improving psychological wellbeing, increasing social networks and long- term recovery.
GMMH work in partnership with Britain’s leading mental health charity, Combat Stress to deliver this service, ensuring effective clinical treatment and welfare support to veterans who suffer from ongoing psychological issues, resulting from their time as a serving Armed Forces member.
GMMH and Combat Stress have a long working relationship and together provide highly skilled staff with the right expertise to work effectively with military veterans, who are experiencing psychological related problems as a result of their military service, these include depression, anxiety, substance misuse, trauma, adjustment disorders and problems relating to personality disorder.
In addition to the clinical services, GMMH provide the necessary links to support veterans and their families with housing, financial and social needs.

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is working in partnership with Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust to provide the service to veterans living in Lancashire.
