Due to the governments push on the Covid Vaccination and Booster Programme, which our practice is delivering and having to prioritise at this time, our routine services may be disrupted for a short time.

Submit your request before 12:30pm Mon-Fri (excluding Bank Holidays) and we will get back to you mostly within 4 hours. If you submit your request after 12:30pm we will get back to you by email or by phone call within the next working day.
Please note that you will no longer be able to submit an eConsult from Friday at 6.30pm until Monday at 8am, you will still be able to access the self help pages and pharmacy advice during the weekends. If you feel you need medical attention please call 111 or in an emergency please dial 999.

Welcome to Eric Moore Partnerships own eConsultation request service. It’s simply called our ‘eConsult’ service.
Please use the eConsult service as the first line choice any time that you need to interact with our practice Doctors, Nurses or our Admin team, without having to call us. This will save you unnecessary waiting on the phone lines and may save you a trip to the practice.
It is a free to use, simple to fill in online form, eConsult is accessible to anyone registered at our practice. Our team will review every request and make sure it is passed to the most relevant health care professional.
Common eConsult requests that you can make by submitting an online form include:
- If you think you need to request a face to face appointment - we will get one booked in if needed
- If you think you need a telephone appointment - we shall call you back the same day in most cases
- If you simply want advice on any aspect of your health – tell us your concerns
- If you need health related documentation including sick notes - simply submit the form
- If you want to discuss your medication - list the query
- If you want to share a picture / photo of your skin condition or report - attach them
There are currently stories circulating through various media outlets that GPs won’t see patients face to face.
We would like to reassure patients that we have been seeing patients face to face throughout the pandemic and will continue to do so going forward. Seeing and examining patients in our surgery is enjoyable, rewarding and is a core aspect of our training as doctors.
We went live with total triage eConsults at Eric Moore Partnership pre-pandemic (November 2019) and our telephone triage and telephone consultations have been in place since 2016.
Adopting these processes has enabled us to offer more appointments, whilst continuing to see those who need to be seen in person. Telephone and remote consultation are safe and most patients find them convenient and flexible, however, we will continue to see hundreds of patients face to face every week. This is based on a safe assessment on the telephone first.

Surgery update regarding COVID
Throughout the COVID pandemic, our Practice has strived to make the surgery as safe as possible for all our patients and staff. We will continue to do so going forward.
From 19th July, nothing will change at the surgery – patients will need to still wear a mask, socially distance and use hand sanitiser in the surgery and staff will continue to wear PPE.
We do understand that it can be frustrating but we know when people come to us they are sick and vulnerable (and some cannot receive the Covid vaccinations due to medical reasons) so we feel it would be wrong to not take these small precautions that can protect people.
In terms of opening up, as many of you know, we have never been shut and in fact have consulted with much higher numbers of patients than we did pre-Covid (face to face, by telephone, by E-consult and by video calls), not counting vaccinating 90% of the adult population twice in the last 6 months.
Our Practice has come so far in trying to minimise the impact of Covid and we are sure you will understand the impact of Covid and understand we continue to retain these safety measures at the surgery.

Covid 19 Vaccine - Important Information
Following extensive trials, the first safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine has been approved in the UK and is now available to priority groups.
Vaccinations are being delivered according to priority groups identified by the Joint Committee of Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI). The vaccinations may not take place at your GP practice, but rather a local vaccination service (led by GPs, practice nurses and community pharmacists) who are responsible for delivering the vaccine to people in your community.
When it is the right time for you to receive your vaccination, you will receive an invitation to come forward. This may be via the phone, or through a letter either from your GP or the national booking system.
We know lots of people will be eager to get protected but we are asking people not to contact us to get an appointment as you will not be able to get one until you are contacted.
