If you need to access a health professional in an emergency between the hours of 18:30 and 08:00 Monday to Friday or during weekends and Bank Holidays, you should call 111 or visit www.111.nhs.uk for advice. Dialling 111 will connect you to the NHS 111 service who will be able to direct you to the appropriate out of hours service. All information recorded by the NHS111 service is sent to the practice securely and added to your records for the practice team to review if needed.

NHS 111 is a confidential telephone advice line which is staffed by nurses and open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you have any health problems, a nurse will advise you on who you should contact for the right treatment, based on the symptoms you describe and the information you supply.
For deaf people or those hard of hearing there is a textphone service available on 0845 606 4647. For those whose preferred language is not English, there is the choice of a confidential translation service.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
Closed for Protected Learning
Each month your practice is closed from 1pm on either the last Wednesday or Thursday for Protected Learning Time and will re-open at 8am the following day. During this time the Out of Hours team are available for your medical needs, please call 111 if required during this time.
Extended Hours Provision
The Eric Moore Partnership Medical Practice offers evening opening until 8pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday opening from 9am to 1pm, with various surgeries & clinics available to improve access for patient's who cannot attend for appointments during normal working hours.

Extended access appointments
Pre-bookable evening and weekend appointments with a local GP are available from 6pm-8pm Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm Saturdays and Sundays 10-2pm at Bath Street Health and Wellbeing Centre. Easily accessible, the Health and Wellbeing Centre is in the town centre and has links to public transport on the town’s main bus routes. To access an out of hours’ appointment or to sign up for GP online access please call your own GP who will arrange the appointment for you. Please be aware that you will need to consent to share your medical record with the service.
GP out of hours service The out of hours GP service is open Monday to Friday 6.30pm - 8.00am and weekends and public holidays 24 hours a day. The emergency GP out of hour’s service in Warrington provides urgent healthcare services for patients who feel their illness cannot wait until their GP surgery re-opens.
